Compudata Health Corporation’s
General Ledger software module is an extremely flexible vehicle
for tracking financial statistics on a day-to-day basis. General
Ledger module comes complete with its own report generator program.
Our General Ledger module combines recurring entries, general
journal entries, and automatically generated entries from each
of its supporting application modules. A trial balance is available
on demand in a detail or summary format.
An allocation process is available for structuring the prorating
of costs from indirect cost centers to direct cost centers. A
user may define his/her own methods of allocation—per patient
day; per square foot; per meal served; per pound of laundry; flat
dollar amounts and/or percentages—and the priority of distribution
each will assume. General Ledger module programs use actual monthly
figures to calculate allocation amounts and create journal entries
to be posted before final financial statements are produced.
Our General Ledger module’s report generator program provides
a flexible vehicle for constructing and modifying balance sheets,
profit and loss statements, departmental budget reports, per diem
reports, and prior period comparisons. Once created, formats are
stored and made available for instant recall for any reporting
period and year.
One optional General Ledger module feature is prior period posting.
If prior period entries are permitted by your facility to a previously
closed period, a user may post entries to a prior period and reprint
the financial statements to properly reflect the profit and loss
for that particular and any subsequent periods.
